Back to this lesson on using a Shortcut Capo. In these video lessons, Randall introduces us to this really cool tool and also demonstrates how to play several chords. He also shows us how to play a really cool song by The Beach Boys using just three very simple chords.

This lesson is perfect for the absolute beginner or for those of you who just want to try something fresh and new.

Essentially, a Shortcut Capo is a partial capo, meaning it is shorter than your average capo. It is only meant to cover three strings at a time:  The 5th, 4th and 3rd strings to be exact, leaving the High E, B and Low E strings open.  This creates a beautiful sound that you will hear Randall talk about in the videos below.
