F13 Guitar Chord Lesson

The F13 chord is found by locating the 1, 3, 5, b7, 9 and 13 positions of the F Major Guitar Scale: F, G, A, Bb, C, D, and E.
There are 2 variations of this chord as shown in the chord charts below. This chord is advanced so if you are just starting out, you may find it a bit challenging. Hang in there and keep practicing.

Playing Tip: Be sure that you are pressing down on the strings hard enough. You should play each string one at a time to make sure you have a nice clean sound. If any of the strings buzz or sound muted, then something is not right.
